Vegetables and fruits

Vegetables and fruits contain lots of antioxidants that are abundant from all food groups. They help in the fight against damage caused by free radicals that lead to chronic conditions such as cancer. They even boost your immune system, so you are better able to defend against infections that can interfere with the recovery of lung cancer.

Berry such as strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries are powerful sources of antioxidants. However, other fruits, such as oranges, grapefruit and kiwi, and vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and paprika are usually full of antioxidants.

Whole grain products
